AGARTALA, April 23 (TIWN): Whereas Agartala-Udaipur road is suffering from pathetic condition, the Lowarpoa-Churaibari road remained hurdle-less this year.
Reportedly, after 2 decades, the road map of NE has been developed due to the interference of the Central Govt.
The driving over Assam-Churaibari National Highway will not face much tough-times like the previous years as the road is now in 90 % better shape, the North Dist official said on Sunday.
The alternative NHC road is also in good shape, confirmed the official.
The Union Minister for Road and Transport Nitin Gadkari before the budget of last Financial Year said that till day the Northeast roads were left as orphans where and no one was there to take care of those roads. Proving his promises to NE roadmap as true, Assam-Agartala road has come in a much better shape, TIWN reported.
