AGARTALA, April 22 (TIWN): The much awaited CBI investigation against Tripura Govt’s various scams to get a kick, with MGNREGA projects’ names in the 1st row.

A source said that already a 5 member team of Central Govt has visited Unakoti, Dhalai and Sepahijala Dist.

Moreover, the completed works which has shown in MISA, the Central team has spot visited those areas.

Many documents, evidences were taken by the Central team, the source further said.

However as per rule if (27) any corruption find in MGNREGA project, the project can be immediately stopped.

Apart from that HC is already hearing on Unakoti Dist’s MGNREGA scam. In this condition Central Govt may send CBI to conduct further investigations in Tripura, like other states.
