AGARTALA, April 21 (TIWN): On-the-Spot visit of the Parliamentary Standing Committee was held on Friday at State Guest House on power related issues.
Standing committee is a committee consisting of Members of Parliament. These standing committees are elected or appointed every year, or periodically by the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha or the Speaker of the Lok Sabha, or as a result of consultation between them.
It was a kind of review meet with all the power agencies including ONGC, NEEPCO via NITI Aayog dashboard.
Both Tripura and Central Govt officials were present on that meeting.
