AGARTALA, April 20 (TIWN): Tripura Pradesh Congress continues its Pada-Yatra led by 2 teams centering their destinations at Agartala Gandhighat on April-26 from two corners of the state.
In this regard, NSUI had kicked off the march from Sabroom at morning 7.00 a.m. till 2 PM they walked around 22 kilometres.
On the other hand Birjit Sinha led Congress Seva Dal is coming from North Tripura. Their journey began on March 18 evening officially.
On April-26, with their arrival a mass gathering has been expected in Agartala, where Congress leaders to address the mass regarding few state issues.
Congress chief demands are :
1. CBI inquiry against Rose Valley Chit fund and demanding the compensation money for the deprived people,
2. To convert TTADC into TTAC,
3. Govt should take charge of tea gardens,
4. 10,323 teachers alternative jobs,
5. to start allowance for unemployed youths
6. To take action against BJP's increasing racial activities.
