AGARTALA, April 18 (TIWN): Agartala NIT Director Gopal Mugeraya on Tuesday at Visvesvaraya Auditorium (at NIT campus) when addressing the 'Alumni Endowment Lecture-2017' said, "The institution doesn't need money or anything from Alumni. But just own the institution and keep in time to time visit".
"Quality of Education reflects in Alumni", said the Director.
"Now a days 50 % students want to go through regular jobs, whereas 50 % want their own. However since 2008 to 2016, NIT was focused more on research of standardization in Education", Mugeraya added.
Tripura Governor Tathagata Roy was present as the Chief Guest of the programme.
It's worthy to mention here that alumni are the former people or students, of a particular school, college, or University.
