AGARTALA, April 16 (TIWN): A heavy loaded truck has damaged a hanging bridge at Trishkadha (Amarpur-Gandachara) road.

Whereas in the signboard it's clearly written that the load carrying capacity of the bridge is 10 tons, but overloaded trucks travel is very common there, said a local after the accident.

The bridge was constructed by PWD, over river Surma. However, no causality was reported from there, whereas transport of common people is expected to be affected heavily.
