Amarpur, April 13 (TIWN) : When state govt is holding various campaigns to aware people not to misuse power, Amarpur Canara Bank official often forget to office light in day time. However, Apart from TIWN Amarpur correspondent's report, MBB College road ways all lights also remain on all the time.
When energy crisis is a big threat and unscheduled power cuts are the order of the day, Bank, University lights can be seen burning during daytime in many parts of the Amarpur Town.
Periodic checks are not happening, resulting a huge amount of tax payers’ money are getting wasted. Energy consumption is already threat high because of the use of fans and air conditioners to beat the summer heat.
It is the responsibility of the authorities to take steps to prevent waste of energy unnecessarily.
