AGARTALA, April 10 (TIWN): Targeting the left front govt, opposition BJP staged demonstration at Paradise Chowmuhani on Monday.

As per pre-schedule, after the continuous 2 day long executive meeting, BJP State President Biplab Deb addressed the OBC Morcha and directed how to function in their own areas and on April-4 through a press conference at BJP Headquarter the demonstration programme was announced.

However, this demonstration has held District-wise led by BJP OBC Morcha alleging 'left front govt has used the minorities just for vote banks'.

However, with 13 charter points of demands the BJP have conducted 3 hour long protest from 12 PM to 3 PM and placed deputation to the DMs and Chief Secretary.

Their demands include : as per Constitution (31)-C a bill has to be passed in the assembly and to send it to the President for approval, to confirm OBC's reservation, to construct a res house for OBCs in Agartala, to increase the book grant for school students, to reserve posts for Govt jobs for OBC unemployed etc.

However CBI inquiry demand in Panchayat Corruption and Chit Fund scam was also in their demands.
