AGARTALA, April 9 (TIWN): A 2 day long training programme for paralegal volunteers has begun at Agartala Press Club on Sunday.

The para legal volunteers were present from Dist legal service as well as subdivisional legal service.

A paralegal is an individual, qualified by education, training or work experience, who is employed or retained by a lawyer, law office, corporation, governmental agency, or other entity and who performs specifically delegated substantive legal work for which a lawyer is responsible.

HC Justice Subashish Talapatra was present on that occasion.
