AGARTALA, April 8 (TIWN): With gymnast Dipa Karmakar's excellent performance, state Tripura has geared up to celebrate sports events and to find out talents from every corners of the state.

In this regard matches have kicked off under Agartala Municiapl Corporation's 17, 18 and 25 number wards, catered huge number of audiences.

AMC Mayor Prafullajit Sinha inaugurated the programme, following by cultural dances and patriotic dance-drama performances at Sishubihar school ground.

The Gramin Kriras or rural matches are going on across the state.
