AGARTALA, April 7 (TIWN): Agartala City was safronized when BJP women morcha started their Mahakaran Abhiyan.

Their 'michil' (rally) had begun from BJP Office at Krishnagar and in rows the women moved to Secretariat.

Demanding strict law and order to control crime against women in state, BJP held that 'Mahakaran-Abhiyan'.

According to BJP, crime against women reached 86 % in state, whereas everyday a minor is raped and most dangerous of it is often they are killed.

This rally is the first ever biggest rally of BJP led by women supporters in Tripura.

The rally gathered around 6000 participants, TIWN eyewitness reported.
