AGARTALA, April 3 (TIWN): Amidst various raids held by police dept. the gambling rackets are increasing instead of decreasing, affecting the law and order across the state.

However, in a successive attempt Panisagar Police led by S/I-Rajib Baidya raided a house a Panisagar and successfully arrested 2 persons named Sukhendra Das (28), S/O- Ananda Das and Rinku Das (24), S/O-Niranjan Das.

Another accused is Rintu Das, who is also the owner of the house is absconding.

 However, S/I-Rajib Baidya said that police are in continuous search of him and soon he will be arrested. SDPO Rajesh Sutradhar also aided S/I-Rajib Baidya and his team.

With the attempt of police the local people are happy.
