Agartala, July 11 (TIWN): To maintain the peace, safety, law and order along 500 meter Indo-Bangla international border under Sadar and Mohanpur subdivisions, the District Magistrate (DM), West- Abhishek Singh in an order imposed some restrictions on the movements of the people.
The restrictions will be applicable on the movements of the general people from 8 pm to 5 am, next morning, an official source confirmed today. This order will be valid till October 06, this year.
As per the order issued by DM, Military forces, Para-military forces and state police personals will be out of the restrictions. Besides, this restriction will not be applicable for those who are permitted by the Superintendent of Police (SP) West, Sub Divisional Magistrates (SDMs) of Sadar and Mohanpur sub-divisions.
This order will not be applicable for the government employees who are involved in govt work and the patients of emergency treatment.
According to the order, if anybody disobeys the restrictions, strict action will be taken as per the Act.
