Amarpur, March 29 (TIWN): It’s a big boost for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Tripura and a huge setback to Didi Mamata Banerjee.

In a major development in the Tripura politics, 560 voters of 300 familes of  CPIM, Trinamool Congress (TMC) members, including Cong supporters join BJP at Amarpur Thalchara area.

“Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is the only political party in the country, which attached maximum importance to developing the backward north eastern region. I have full confidence that BJP would be able to free the state from the clutches of CPI-M and form a government in the 2018 election” Said one BJP leader.
