AGARTALA, July 10 (TIWN): Former Bangladesh foreign minister- Dr Dipu Moni including other dignitaries from Bangladesh today visited several places in the city before leaving the state. Dr Moni arrived yesterday here at Agartala to attend a one-day ‘Tripura Conclave’ organised by tripurainfoway.com at Sukanta auditorium.
She firstly visited Mukut Bitani Bitan, a Bangladeshi market situated in Lichubagan, outskirts of Agartala. After visiting the market Dr Moni said, “This is a good initiative and a good number of people will get benefited by this market.
Later, she went to Bangladesh VISA office at Circuit House and inspected all the offices till 9.15 am in the morning. After that, Dr Dipu Moni rushed to the Tripura State Museum at 9.30 am. During her visit to state museum, she inspected various portraits of then Tripura King’s life-style and culture and she was overjoyed.
However, after visiting Tripura State Museum, Dr Dipu Moni visited Bamboo Handicrafts Showroom followed by Akhuara Integrated Check Post (ICP) on 11.00 am and concluded her two-day long trip to Tripura.
