DHARMANAGAR, March 26 (TIWN): A 16 years girl was brutally killed by Rajat Tati (21) at Dharmanagar Padmapur allegedly after rape. Her body was found with severe injuries on a roadside and full of blood leaving no cloth over her. Rajat Tati, S/O- Gopal Pandey Tati has accepted that he killed the girl on Saturday night. Both of them were residents of Dharmanagar Padmapur and Rajat Tati is also allegedly engaged in various smuggling like activities. The victim's father Bidyut Kanti Dey after whole night's of waiting when heard about this tragic incident immediately rushed to the police station and broke down in tears. Reportedly, her face was fully damaged by Rajat Tati so that nobody can identify her. Moreover, first he killed her by strangled her throat and repeatedly hitting her head with a stone. On late night of Sunday at Madhuban road, near Radharaman Asram at Padmapur her body was recovered after Rajat Tati as a part of drama called the local people that a body has been seen by him. After local people came and called police, Rajat Tati was taken for interrogation and in the morning time he accepted that he killed her.
However, Rajat Tati is also claiming that both of them were in relationship and on Saturday night both drank together and after physical intercourse, the girl threatened him that she will tell at her home about it.
After her threat, Rajat killed her to save from raping minor.
However, police in charge-sheet has imposed many IPCs and as the girl was minor, in any way, Tati was a rapist and also a killer. This incident raised question over the security of women in this state. Her body has been sent for post mortem.
This innocent girl's brutal murder has created panic among the local people here.
However, state will also see how many political leaders visit to sustain the hapless parents of this 16 years girl.
