AGARTALA, March 23 (TIWN): After weakening Tripura Trinamool party fully and proving Mamata Banerjee's fund flow for Tripura was fully waste, former Trinamool Chairman Ratan Chakraborty said that Prime Minsiter Modi is the first prime minister ever in India since 70 yrs of independence who really looked at Northeast zone.

'Demonetization was proposed many times, but nobody approved it, but PM Modi had done that. When I was in TMC, interacting with media, I supported Demonetization. That time I was not decided with my party changing', said Chakraborty.

On the other hand, huge resentment have brewed among the TMC supporter for badmouthing against TMC. TMC left almost in handicapped condition as just before few days another veteran leader Surajit Dutta also left the party to join BJP when Assam Chief Minister was present at Astabol Stadium.

However, according to Chakraborty Modi is a saintly persons, who once went to become saint but his 'Guru' told him to serve his mother land and Modi is the first Prime Minister to look at Northeast.
