Agartala, March 23 (TIWN): MOS Rajan Goshai had given assurance to extend help as far as railway expansion is concern upto sabroom Town. He also instructed railway officials to complete the rest work before timeline,

The 70km railway extension project has made good progress with BG trains running between Agartala to Udaipur. And, the same train will run up to Garjee in Gomati district by March itself.

The project, connecting Agartala with Sabroom, is supposed to be completed by June 2019. “We are hoping to complete the project within the stipulated time and the NFR is giving priority to it,” said the official.

Sabroom is the last border town of Tripura along the Bangladesh border and the sea port is just 75 km away.
