AGARTALA, March 19 (TIWN): Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Radha Mohan Singh has arrived in Tripura as a part of inspecting the status of Agriculture growth in state.

As per the Union Budget it was aimed to double the farmers’ income by 2022. Thus as a part of visit the Minister will take notes to the ongoing condition.

However, after arriving state, the Minister met Tripura BJP State President Biplab Deb and went to GB Hospital where 2 BJP members were admitted, allegedly attacked by CPI-M.

As per Modi Govt’s instruction in every 3 months the Ministers have to visit NE states till the region become fully developed and thus his visit was a regular routine-based visit.
