AGARTALA, March 16 (TIWN): The Postal Employee’s Tripura Division, along with the rest of the country, participated in the one day nationwide strike on March 16 called by the All India Central Government Employees’ Union.

The protest is in support of a 21 point charter of demands, which includes revision of minimum pay & fitment factor, no reduction in the rate of allowances as per the 7 CPC recommendation, etc.

All public transactions in post offices across Tripura has remained closed on Thursday.
