AGARTALA, March 16 (TIWN): Two housewives died on Wednesday at Agartala City. In both the cases, mother in laws and deceased husbands were arrested.

Both of the women’s bodies were found hanging at home. 2 separate FIRs were lodged in West PS by the family members of the victims.

Papiya Pal (20), D/O-Narayan Dhar died at Bhuban Nagar. Reportedly, Papiya’s husband Pranesh Pal asked his laws to come to Pranesh’s house and meet him. When they arrived they found her body hanging at home. The deceased family members lodged an FIR at West Police Station alleging it a murder.They also alleged Pranesh’s dowry charges from Papiya’s family members continuously after 6 months of marriage.

On the other hand, Arpita Chakraborty’s (32) deadbody was found hanging in the same day at Ramnagar-4 road area at her law’s house. Her father was sub-inspector and later she got job in die-in-harness. She was married to Subrata  Chakraborty. Allegedly, her mother in law Mina Chakraborty continuously was torturing her,even she wanted Arpita to go back her parents home forever. The couple also have a 11 month’s baby. However, after the deabody was recovered both Subrata  Chakraborty,Mina  Chakraborty were arrested.
