AGARTALA, March 14 (TIWN): After the mayhem of Monday before West PS, Tripura BJP held a press meet on Tuesday led by BJP State President Biplab Deb at BJP HQ, Krishnanagar.

Addressing the press, Deb said that BJP was innocent in this incident held on last evening as they were doing normal political works.

‘The situation got worst when police has attacked on BJP supporters before West PS’, alleged Deb.

Following the incident Deb said what TMC has done from now no alliance talk will be held and BJP will win by its won power and show CPI-M that BJP alone is capable to kick them out from the power.

BJP President also said that the role of police is contradictory and accused Add SP Sharmistha Chakraborty for acting with Melarmath’s direction.

However, SP West Abhijit Sapartshi said that both TMC and BJP violated section-144 on Monday.  

It’s worthy to mention here that at least 11 policemen, one leader each from the BJP and the TMC, apart from three other political workers and four journalists, were injured when Trinamool Congress and BJP workers clashed here on Monday night.
