AGARTALA, March 14 (TIWN): After the massive political clash held on Monday evening, FIR was lodged from both the parties. However, police has not arrested anyone yet, as without proper investigations political bluffs can not be given highest importance, when students are giving Board Exams, said SP West Abhijit Saptarshi on Tuesday.
Taking to SP West, he said, “Presently sustaining the peace is much more important than anything, as board examination is going on across the state”.
Monday’s political clash also injured 11 police personnel at Agartala, said SP West.
Both Trinamool and BJP filed FIRs against each others. Police is further investigating the case, but when section 144 was imposed at Agartala during holi the political leaders created chaos before West PS, said SP.
