AGARTALA, March 13 (TIWN): The first day of Holi celebration has ended peacefully across Tripura.
However, tight security has been provided for whole Monday as Bengalis will play with colours during day time.
Tension is there for accident chances and some unwanted incidents as intoxication raises high with Chorex, drugs, Bhangs and Ganjas in Tripura festive seasons.
On the other hand political clashes among CPI-M and BJP have gripped Udaipur City under heavy tension.
However, traffic police security will be tightened till night, source said.
Holi is a Hindu spring festival in India and Nepal, also known as the "festival of colours" or the "festival of love", but now all celebrations have turned as ‘tension-season’ for young generations’ guardians due to illegal sale of liquors.
