AGARTALA, March 10 (TIWN): Vote-on-Account of Agartala Municipal Corporation for 1 month has been presented at AMC office.AMC also held budget discussion in that meeting and declared that on April 10 budget will be placed.

AMC Mayor Prafullajit Sinha while tabling the budget last year said that the 2016-17 budget has attached certain priorities which include provision of drinking water facilities, sewerage system, housing for the urban poor, Avenue and institutional plantations, development of slum areas including construction of houses under RAY under JnNURM, strengthening the solid waste management, setting up of scientific landfill station, city beautification, establishment of one dispensary for health check of staff/workers engaged in SWM and construction of roads, drains, and others.

However, since last 1 year Agartala city was seen in its worst shape. From road to water supply, plantation AMC was found in slumber mood.

So, it’s to be seen what development AMC brings this time.
