AGARTALA, March 7 (TIWN): International Women’s Day to be celebrated in the State on 8th March along with the whole world. In this regard Social Welfare Dept organized a colourful rally at Agartala to aware the public against Crime Against Women.
Amidst troublesome lives of women, state will observe the day with full enthusiasm.
Today, Tripura women are in police dept, working jointly with men and even they are working in field, MGREGA works etc.
Like every year, this year also, various programmes have been launched by both the State Government and the other private organizations.
This day is celebrated to sketch glimpse of life of Tripura's hard working women who struggles everyday to earn a livelihood to support her family.
On this day worldwide Women's contribution to world, society, life is celebrated.
All around the world, International Women's Day represents an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of women while calling for greater equality.
