AGARTALA, March 5 (TIWN): A sudden rain hits Agartala City Sunday afternoon.

Unexpectedly light rain occurred in Wednesday afternoon, has downed the temperature.

Cloudy weather is expected to prevail for next 24 hours in the state. However, rain has also hit other subdivisions.

Normal life in the states capital came to a halt as torrential rains wreaked havoc in the city to disruption of traffic movement services that left thousands of commuters stranded.
