AGARTALA, March 5 (TIWN): A case has been filed against RD Dept. Principal Secretary GSG Ayyangar in High Court.

According to the petitioner Santosh Deb, resident of Suryamaninagar, without calling tender all the works with Crores of amount was done by an implementing officer, which is strictly violation of rules.

As per general fundamental rules 129 Act Delegation of Financial rules of Tripura-2001 such works were done in this manner.

Moreover, in 2016, 19^th March Finance Dept issued a circular for every depts. In that circular it was said that as per general fundamental rules of 2011 and before starting the work permission has to taken from the dept.

Thus the question raised how RD Dept can does its works through implementing officers.

Already case has been filed against the Principal Secretary and now has to answer it before the court.
