AGARTALA, March 3 (TIWN): State Tripura has received 2 national awards in 2016.

One award was given for the Republic Day tableau presented at New Delhi. Tripura received the 2nd prize there. 

The second award was for IMR decreasing. Tripura Govt claimed that for State's success in deducting crime rate, Govt of India has given the awards to Tripura Govt.

But what surprises is that Tripura Govt didn't claim about any NREGA awards  which is much hyped during various speeches of Ministers in the state.
