AGARTALA, March 2 (TIWN): There are 29 posts yet vacant for justices, delaying the legal procedure in various courts, a Govt data said.
There are total 106 posts which are sanctioned for judges. But out of them only 77 judges are working now, whereas 29 posts are left vacant.
Tripura’s 80 % cases remain unconvinced due to the loopholes of investigation and gap while filing chargesheet. A data revealed that in 2016 whereas 6139 cases were resolved, whereas only 1415 cases got penalty. In 2014 out of 6753 cases only 753 cases received penalty and in 2015cases 835 cases got penalty. All of the cases were under IPC crime but with a relief for the accused 80 % got the penalty.
However, if state govt wants the Judicial process may be fasten as 29 posts are yet vacant for judges.
