KAMALPUR, Feb 27 (TIWN): In a bizarre incident, a tribal youth namely Mangal Debbarma (32) was murdered brutally last evening around 6-30 pm at Emprubazar area on Kamalpur-Marachara-Ambassa road almost 20 km away from. sub-divisional town of Kamalpur. Tension sparked in the area regarding the incident. However, police detained one Bijoy Bagti in this connection. CPI-M claimed Mangal as their party member.

According to the information, the incident took place around 6-30 pm when Mangal was returning home from.adjacent Mahadevbazar.

His family members noticed the incident around 8 pm and police was informed immediately. They also alleged Sanjit Bagti and Munna Bagti for this murder. Receiving the news SDPO Dr. Chandan Saha rushed to the spot. SP Dhalai

Jail Singh Meena also rushed there. After primary investigation one Bijoy Bagti was detained.  CPI-M Sub-divisional Secretary Anjan Das also reached there and spoke with the bereaved family.

Later it was hinted by the CPI-M party that the murder might be planned and executed by BJP miscreants to destabilize the peace and harmony. However, local people expressed that, the murder might be a result of scuffle took place in intoxicated condition.
