AGARTALA, Feb 21 (TIWN): The 3rd day of the Assembly 2017-Session has begun on Tuesday morning.

However, from the beginning of the session, the Assembly was heated up by the opposition protests about pay review.

Opposition raised question regarding non-implementation of 7^th pay commission but the Finance Minister Bhanulal Saha could not answer the oppositions question.

The extended amount under the recently decided 7^th pay commission is not possible by the state govt to provide. Whatever salary and pension is needed will be given by the state govt under the allocated 600 crores.
