AGARTALA, Feb 21 (TIWN): The 3rd day of the Assembly 2017-Session has begun on Tuesday morning.
However, from the beginning of the session, the Assembly was heated up by the opposition protests about pay review.
Opposition raised question regarding non-implementation of 7th pay commission but the Finance Minister Bhanulal Saha could not answer the oppositions question.
The extended amount under the recently decided 7th pay commission is not possible by the state govt to provide. Whatever salary and pension is needed will be given by the state govt under the allocated 600 crores.
