Sister Nivedita's 150th anniversary observed

KAMALPUR, Feb 19 (TIWN): Margarrette Elizabeth Nobel turned Sister Nivedita after arriving India leaving her motherland Ireland. She almost sacrificed her life for India. Becoming the earnest discipile of Swami Vivekananda she worked for making new India. She also contributed greatly to the freedom movement of India. And on this perspective she got remembered and honoured by Ramkrishna Ashram at Town Hall today. The Ashram arranged for Youth Conference where students participated.
Secretary of Ramkrishna Mission Agartala Hitakamananda Maharaj and Praneswarananda Maharaj remained present and discussed on life and works of Sister Nivedita very lucidly.
Students present on the occasion enjoyed the program very much.
