AGARTALA, Feb 17 (TIWN): The 1st session of Tripura Budget Assembly-2017 will continue upto March 15 from Friday. However, from Feb 17 to March 15, the Assembly will be conducted for only 9 days.

The budget session, has begun with Tripura Governor’s speech. After his speech Assembly was adjourned after oppositions held protests.

After the speech of Tathagata Roy budget discussion had begun at the Assembly.

However, as per report the discussion will be held on various budget related issues.

MLA Pranjit Singha Roy to raise the issue of unemployment and asked the state govt to hike the age limitation of the job unemployed youths.

Dibachandra Hrankhol to raise the Rose Valley topic and when the investors will get back their money.

CPM MLA Lalit Debbarma’s demand will be linked with SC / ST fund allocation & on Feb 20, Finance Minister Bhanulal Saha will place budget 2017-18 at the Assembly.
