AGARTALA, Feb 11 (TIWN): Even after the ending of fair, a huge number of devotees rushed on the second day of the fair at Kailashahar, 14 Goddess Temple on Saturday.
Reportedly, the fair is held every full moons on the month of ‘Magh’ (as per Bengali calendar).
This festival is atleats 200 years traditional festival. More than 50,000 devotees gathered during the fair, TIWN reported.
The basic idol of the fair is a tree, which is being worshipped by Hindu Devotees.
The fair was inaugurated on Friday 2 PM by Jila Parishad Kalpana Debnath.
However, along with local people devotees across the state have been arrived to enjoy the traditional festival.
The whole areas is atleast of 700 ekars and various small temples are there amidst big-big roots of trees centering a single Big tree.
