Agartala, June 28 (TIWN): With the initiative of Tripura State Legal Services Authority, a mega Lok-Adalat was organised today at Tripura High Court including all other courts across the state.

 Altogether, 25, 529 cases were taken for disposal. Among them 31 appeal cases were disposed in the High Court Lok-Adalat and a total of 15, 256 cases were disposed by the other courts of the state. In total, 74 motor accident related cases were disposed in the Lok-Adalats and Rs 61, 78, 000 was collected as compensation.

During the Lok-Adalat, several pending cases related to traffic challan, matrimonial disputes, accident and many other cases were disposed today.

The Lok-Adalat also collected a total of Rs 23, 32, 090 as fine money from the vehicle riders for disobeying the traffic rules. All the Lok-Adalats were started fom 10 am in the morning.
