AGARTALA. Feb 10 (TIWN): Once again Chief Minister Manik Sarkar raised question against Modi Govt’s decision on banning cow-slaughter.
In a book publishing programme held at Rabindra Bhawan by Akshar publishers, Sarkar said that beef eating is just a part of daily food habit and the govt should not ban over the rights of people.
However, CM kept numb about the increasing cattle smuggling in his state and continuous cow killing during Indo-Bangla borders.
Recently many incidents came out when vehicles were caught with half dead cows on it.
