AGARTALA, Jan 27 (TIWN): When Chief Minister Manik Sarkar insulted Prime Minister Narendra Modi before foreign delegates, it not BJP but Trinamoool Congress raised the voice against it.
At first TMC raised the issue at Assembly, then the party members burnt CM’s effigy and then Congress did the same.
After two days, BJP woke up and held protest and raised voice supporting the Prime Minister.
Alleging insulting the Communist Party by calling them fascist, CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar said that Governor should take back his word.
Not only this, insulting the Governor Tathagata Roy post Bijan Dhar said that there is no necessity of the Governor post and a Governor should be selected by Election.
Moreover, Dhar called Governor Tathagata Roy as a ‘RSS Fellow’.
But with a surprise, from BJP no voice yet has been raised. Neither the BJP President gave any condemn press notice.
BJP State President’s silent role is creating resentment among the BJP lover intellectuals of state Tripura.
