AGARTALA, Jan 26 (TIWN): A team effort of Teliamura police arrested one drug peddler and claimed to have busted a smuggling ring involved in selling drugs from one state to another.

Suspecting to operate a smuggling racket in the state, Teliamura police arrested one identified as Sachindra Debbarma  who is a Auto (TR 01C-3416) Driver.

Allegedly he was involved in selling drugs including brown sugar and other contraband items in the state.

The localites of Teliamura  said that he continuously sells brown sugar and also operates a smuggling racket.

Police however, acting on a tip of secret information police arrested him from his residence.
