AGARTALA, Jan 25 (TIWN): The Udaipur-Sabroom rail lines which will be completed by 2019 will receive 2 long tunnels, the state Transport Minister said.
Due to some hilly parts come in between these 2 Stations from sabroom to Udaipur, the tunnels need to be constructed.
The project reportedly will be completed within 2019 and the ‘safety’ issue will be given as the utmost priority.
Already the 44 KM long Agatala-Udaipur train service has been kicked off from Tuesday. The Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu himself inaugurated the train service from New Delhi via a video conference.
Prabhu said that upgradation of NE connectivity is now one of the major challenges taken by Modi Govt and NE states will be equal with other states in coming days in case of development.
