SANTIRBAZAR, Jan 24 (TIWN): The three day long Pilak Archaeological and Tourism Festival 2017 held in West Pilak Higher Secondary School field in Jolaibari. Sabhadhipati of South Tripura concludes on Monday.

On the ending ceremony Zila Parishad Himangshu Roy remained present as the Chief Guest of this programme.

During the three days, many cultural programs were organized every evening, where eminent artists from the state and outside the state had participated.

Stalls from different departments of Govt of Tripura highlighting their achievements in the last FY.

Pilak has always been one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Tripura for the Buddists and peace loving people.

Since its discovery people from different parts of the state and beyond borders have been visiting Pilak. The Tourism Department too is very keen to attract tourists to Pilak.

Keeping this view in mind the Department is organizing this festival every year.
