AGARTALA, Jan 23 (TIWN): With the completion of 100 years Tripura Co-operative bank has celebrated Diamond Jubilee on Monday.

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar himself inaugurated the programme at Muktadhara.

Minister Manidra Reang was also present on that occasion.

During his speech, Sarkar expressed his concerned about the privatization of Indian Banks as it may invite more corporate sector’s interference in state.

Sarkar also criticized the  Demonetization and claimed a huge business loss of Tripura due to demonetization.
