Bishalgarh, Dec 22 (TIWN): People residing in Sutamura village under Bishalgarh Tehsil are counting days racked in pain. Like many deprived villages across Tripura, Sutamura does not have drinking water source.
Drinking unhygienic water, many children are dealing with health problems.
Recently nearly 65 children are being detected with diarrhea. Ward No.2 particularly is under serious threat. Condition of 18 children is very serious. They have been shifted to hospital.
As there is no source for drinking water, in order to quench thirst, people had no choice other than to drink water from a well which is grossly unhygienic. There is a tank in the village which is in deserted condition since many days. People have raised enough protests for drinking water availability, with no response from village authority.
With such sufferings by people, CPI M is having their “Golden Era”.
