Agartala, Dec 22 (TIWN): On Sunday, Left Front backed Tripura Samabay Sramik Karmachari Union under CITU held state convention at CITU Auditorium in Office Lane.

CPI M Minister Manik Dey was present in the convention. 

To identify success, failure and weakness of the samitis, election alike panchayats in a single day, to provide pension for samiti’s President/Chairman were among the demands raised in the convention.

The convention also aimed at raising the income level of samiti through implementation of various steps.
