Agartala, Dec 21 (TIWN): Traffic jam is increasingly becoming a rampant across the town.

Major traffic jam is noticed daily across Astabal, Math Choumuhani and Lakshmi Narayan Bari road particularly in the official hours of arrival and departure at 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

There is no step by government in implementing digital traffic signals. Some of the roads like the one from Dim Sagar towards Colonel Chowmuhani are too narrow gearing up huge traffic.

Roads across the town are having enough footpaths for pedestrians. People have to walk on the main road.

 Mirror glasses to avoid wrong turns were a brilliant idea but implementation is not being done properly and public mostly is ignorant of how it works. Hilarious but true fact is that most of them just consider it to be a mere face looking glass.
