Dharmanagar, Dec 20 (TIWN): Heinous crime across women is shattering the state. Although annual report by DGP Nagraj have shown decrease in crime rate against women. Daily incidents going across the state is telling a different tale.

On Friday, a house wife was trodden to death on burning dowry issues. The deceased-Ratna Khatun was a resident of Sonapur village.

Family members of the deceased have filed a FIR with Police station.

How far Police have done their duty is still unknown.
