AGARTALA, Dec 19 (TIWN):Recently NLFT have threatened non- tribals to leave ADC area by March 31, 2017.KLO,NLFT and PDCK as a tripartite said that they are being attacked, suppressed and oppressed by non- tribals.

NLFT said twipra land was always an independent state, it was never included in Indian sub-continent. But non tribals particularly bangalis are been occupying their area, NLFT further added.

The organization rationalized its attempt by stating that they are not going to Delhi or West Bengal, they are just in their own land to make it a better place to thrive.

With the prevalent tranquil environment across Tripura since 2008   with no reported incidents, this declaration by NLFT has created a blood curdling situation for bangalis.

However amidst the fear generated, Working member of ADC, Radha Charan Debbarma was quoted saying ADC is a peaceful abode for tribals and non-tribals.

TMC MLA Ratan Chakraborty  said that  both tribals and non-tribals have to come forward in handling this national threat. CPI M Tripura State Secretary Bijan Dhar said that may be some politics is involved in publishing of such threat news. However , the threat was highly opposed by INPT General secretary-Jagadish Debbarma.
