AGARTALA, Jan 18 (TIWN): All India Radio Centers will celebrate its 50 years of completion across the Nation.
At Agartala Tripura Governor Tathagata Roy will inaugurate the two day long programme at All India Radio Campus on January 30th
On 31st January Mayor Prafullajit Sinha will inaugurate the 1st Session at All India Radio Campus , whereas at Rabindra Bhawan, Chief Minister Manik Sarkar will inaugurate the 2nd session on the same day.
As 26th January is Republic Day, so the programme has been scheduled from January 30th.
Addressing a press meet Suchismita Roy Head of the Dept. (Agartala) told media, "Today Radio service is running in full fledged across the Nation with new technology and a seamless service is given from morning 5.55 AM to night 10.30 PM".
Many cultural programmes, puppet shows will be shown at Rabindra Bhawan on 31st January, which will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Manik Sarkar.
All India Radio, officially known since 1956 as Ä€kÄshvÄṇī, is the national public radio broadcaster of India and a division of Prasar Bharati.
