AGARTALA, Jan 17 (TIWN): Protesting against an incident held on Monday with a Tom-Tom driver named Shymal Das at Battala the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangha (BMS) gheroued SDPO Sadar on Tuesday.
Reportedly, a CITU leader named Asish Das had beaten Shyamal Das heavily at Battala as a part of revenge for joining in BMS from CPI-M backed CITU.
Although FIR was launched against Asish Das, but no step has been yet taken against him.
Reacting over police’s silence the Mazdoor Sangh ghroued the SDPO Office, asking for immediate action against the accused person.
The Mazdoor Sangh members further alleged that such attacks upon BJP members are increasing in Tripura day after day.
