AGARTALA, Jan 16 (TIWN): How far the Agartala-Udaipur train will cater passengers? Will this route will work as challenge for the local bus business there ?

This question raises often as the distance between Agartala-Udaipur is around 50 KM, whereas it takes only 1 and half hours to travel between these places.

But while coming via train, it will take some time in those journeys and there will be highly any assurance of train in time. Moreover, from Agartala Railway Station to the main City will cost more, whereas the bus fair is of only Rs. 30 with one and half hours journey.

However, from Jan 20^th the Train service will begin and atleast 6 day a week the train will run over the route. Now it will be seen how far the route caters passenger?
